Friday we had a beautiful snow, everything was beautiful, on Sunday we had ice, which I do not like. I don’t mind driving on snow too badly, but not on ice at all. It controls you, instead of you controlling it.
Christmas and New Years Day are forever gone again. Where does time go, it seems to wait for no one. Life continues to move on day in and day out. But to be healthy and able to enjoy the new year is a true blessing.
I don’t know if you like watching ice skating or not, but my wife and I love it. The competion is pretty tight in some of those contests and newcomers will be getting better and replacing those who are not on top. As one gets older their time to stop the competition ends and then the newcomers take their places. Lief continues on and on. The Olympics begin in February and we will be watching some of it.
I love the ice skating, downhill skiing, the bobsleds and ice racing the best. We all have our favorites, and perhaps none of my favorites are yours, but that is what makes life interesting. It would be pretty boring if we all looked the same, acted the same and liked the same things.
I also like football and am looking for the Super Bowl this year. I like the Patriots, and now Tampa Bay Buccaneers, for I am a Tom Brady fan. This year it seems to me that there are so many good teams that the competition seems pretty good. If you enjoy it I hope your team wins, but just as long as it is the one I want to see be victors.

This is my first blog so here goes!
I am setting at Quick Lane in Chambersburg right now. Listening to Christmas music, Elvis is singing Blue, Blue Christmas.Need two new tires. We all know what that is like, upkeep on our cars seem to be never ending. But where would we be without them. Some say we should get rid of them, but for me they are much better than walking. Can you imagine what life would be like without them. It would bring our lives and economy to a standstill.
My wife and and I are going to the Capital theater today. They are showing the old movie with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. They are singing White Christmas now.
It is one if not my favorite Christmas movie. There are two showings today. One at 3 and the other at 6:30. I wish you all a very merry Christmas day. I will try to keep updating this
blog and hopefully will have something of interest to say. Tires on, they did a good job and only about an hour or so wait.
